Welcome to the Fourth Issue of the Third Volume of my zine: Cavalier Attitude. As the masthead says, this zine focuses on the Old School Revival (OSR) in fantasy role-playing. The Oldschool System Reference and Index Compilation™ (OSRIC) is my personal retro-clone of choice, but I will cover other games systems as well, as interest and time permit. The zine is publishing quarterly. The first issue was published in September 2017, this is our eighth issue.

• Bard’s Corner: a feature showcasing fantasy fiction with an RPG theme, by myself and others. This time you’ll hear the tale of an honourable spymaster who gets tossed about in the æther, entitled “The Unstuck Spy”.
• Magickal Menagerie: new and unique magic items straight from the pages of my published adventures! In this issue you’ll learn of the earthbane hammer, ring of blinking and teleportation stones!
• Pre-generated player character: a party of four pre-generated high-level (levels 13-16) player characters, ready to take on whatever your GM’s campaign can dish out.
• An Exclusive OSR adventure, "Seeress’ Rescue": in this new OSRIC adventure your players will be called on to rescue a young seeress who has been kidnapped by a demonic cult. It is intended for 4-6 player characters of 8th to 10th level.
• Dread Bestiary: the full OSRIC statistics for the fearsome demon cult monks featured in the "Seeress’ Rescue" module, for use in your own adventures!
