The original AD&D Dungeon Masters Guide provides a wealth of useful information to any game referee, and its magic item section is a trove of interesting and useful items....But, one problem it does have is that of rolling for magic items. Items are listed according to category and by alphabetical order and not by power level...To counter this problem, I have taken the magic item tables from the DMG and reorganized them according to the relative power levels of the party, the level of the dungeon/wilderness adventure, and the Dungeon Master’s overall milieu.
