Back in 1982, in Dragon Magazine No. 65, Gary Gygax told readers of new classes under consideration for inclusion in an expansion of the Advanced D&D game system. The Mystic, the Savant, the Mountebank, and the Jester, as envisioned by Gary Gygax, never saw the light of day.
