This is One Lost Pipe. A short RPG that is intended for 1 or 2 players.
To play this game you are going to need:
One standard deck of cards.
A writing utensil.
Tokens of some kind (you could just tally on paper instead).
In this game you are a private detective that has been hired by the proprietor of a pub named The Pied Piper. The pipe from which the pub takes its name has been stolen and there are some odd myths that go along with it.
You and another player will swap back and forth between the role of The Detective and the role of Fate as The Detective pursues his (or her) investigation into the missing pipe.
At the end of this booklet you will find additional roles that can be added to the game to support more players.
This game is an entry in the August 2011 48-Hour RPG contest. Three words were generated randomly for each entry. The words for this RPG were: rat, pipe, tavern. The author then had 48 hours to design, write and submit the RPG.
