Description Edit | History

From Introduction:

Pourquoi avoir choisi OpenQuest?

English translation (courtesy of Google):

Say goodbye to orcs, elves, dragons!
Today you go to Alamanda.
Go and greet Anquidiath, half-buried under the mountain god, tickle monster octopus war, stroll among the ears of wheat field carnivore!
Will you have the guts to follow Mack, a young man in search of a legendary school of executors? Will you be worthy of becoming a disciple of John, a detective specializing in criminal magic?
If so, get ready to discover a world which combines humor, detective stories and improbable creatures. An original and wacky world where you may not return unscathed.

Alamanda The System is a variation of OpenQuest, a game created by Newt Newport. The French translation of OpenQuest was conducted by Arasmo, Kurgan and Mugen. Elements of rules
from other systems such as RuneQuest SRD, Mongoose (translation of James and Erik Mazoyer Manez) and GORE, Daniel Proctor.
This variant has taken this translation and changed the rules of origin so as to create what you have in your hands, called the system version Alamanda.

Why was the system Alamanda?
Alamanda system is a set of rules designed for use with a world of fantasy based on a cycle of novels, the Round Alamanda (www.alamander.fr). However, it can also easily be used with any fantasy world, or even medieval or fantastic!

Why did you choose OpenQuest?
Because it's also a very good game system, both rich and simple.
