subtitle: Role-playing in M.A.R. Barker’s classic world of Tekumel
User summary:
Tirikelu is a role playing game system developed by Dave Morris (II) for use with M. A. R. Barker's Tékumel setting.
designer's comment:
My own preference is for rules that are streamlined and simple, with the minimum dice-rolling necessary to keep an arbitrary referee in line. To this end I started working on my own system for Tékumel about ten years ago. The end result was TIRIKELU.
User Comment:
The rules for Tirikélu were originally published as a set of pull-out supplements in The Eye of All-seeing Wonder, a Tékumel 'zine. The first of these was published in 1993. The collated, edited PDF version bears no publishing date but was released some time later than the magazine supplements.
