Far away from any other signs of civilization a simple but well trodden dirt path leads to this log cabin hidden in the woods. The house is a simple structure, but constructed quite sturdy. On a low foundation of stone thick logs, smeared with clay to keep the wind out, form the houses walls. Its chimney is the only part built from stone rising beyond the level of the foundation. A sturdy door at the front and three narrow windows on either side are just about all of the cabins features. Its roof is constructed from the same logs used for the walls with additional straw covered boards, weighed down with large flat rocks, to keep wind and weather out.
