Description Edit | History

From Introduction:

DS-X 2012 set in the present and is motivated by great games, movies and role playing games like Conspiracy-X, X-Com X-Files (Fringe, Warehouse 13, ...).

Imagine all the urban legends of extraterrestrials, ancient civilizations and conspiracy at the highest level were true. Of course, hardly anyone knows this, and should remain so.

You are working for an organization like the FBI, Majestic-12 or the Illuminati. Your job is to look for evidence of the events and make them disappear on the other side.

Generally it is up to the players and match officials, as you applies the setting. Who wants to live like tactical combat-heavy missions, which plays an organization like X-Com on alien hunt. Detectives and mystics play à la Mulder and Scully. Or simply play something in between hunts and urban legends, such as the giant alligator in the sewer or poltergeists as the Ghostbusters.

The truth is somewhere in you!

The system is open in each direction, for why it should not really be vampires, elves and magicians. In principle, provided that is not. But it is the players and match officials to operate freely on equipment, talents or other breeds DS systems, as Caera, gamma layer or layers zombie.

To make it easier for experienced players, all paranormal talents and abilities that have a direct counterpart in the rulebook are marked (), making it easier for queries or errata searching immensely.
