As far as the eye can see massive sand dunes stretch from one horizon to the other. As monotonous and unchanging the desert might look to the untrained eye, it is neither. The dunes are ever changing, slowly moving along as the wind moves them forward one grain of sand at a time. As it is now the chill of the night still lingers over the sand as the sun has just barely risen into the sky. While one side of the dunes is already bathed in the warming rays of the sun the other is still firmly in the dunes own shadows.
