The Spielerheft starts with an interactive introduction for new players that describes the main features while leading the player through a small encounter scene. This is followed by a short solo adventure. The book covers character creation, skill checks, combat, races and classes, magic, pantheons and rites.
The Spielleiterheft prepares newbie GM's to direct their first adventure, which is also included. It has a wilderness and a dungeon part. The book adds advanced and optional rules, details the kingdom of Trion, provides some adventure ideas, and also has a short bestiary and some magic items.
The Spielmaterial contains eight short scenarios, mostly staged in or around the village Leet. Included is some setting material, NPCs etc. to flesh out the village. Also, a dozen new creatures are given. The booklet also provides four pre-generated player characters.

First edition (2011)
The first edition, Aborea, does not include the third booklet (adventures and some extra creatures). The player's and GM's books have both been revised and expanded for the second edition, the new binding is slightly sturdier.
Third edition (2014)
In December 2014, the revised third edition was published, incorporating errata and clarifications, (usually positive) adjustments to ranged attacks in a new close distance category of 1-3 m and a distinction between dedicated throwing axes, knives and spears and their normal variants (a -2 penalty on an attack roll if throwing the latter), all of which is also available in the form of two free PDF documents.
