The characters have come a long way since the outbreak of the Living Dead consumed the world. From their first encounter with the creatures aboard the Pinnacle cruise ship; to their confrontation with Hell Fuerrie in North Carolina, they have faced harsh opposition. They've discovered the Living Dead can appear as Shamblers, Sprinters, Generals, and Infected Newborns. They've uncovered a plot by UniMed and factions within the Federal Government that mistakenly created a new breed of monster: Ragers.
