Esse e-book foi baseado no anime Record of Lodoss War, escrito pelo japonês Ryo Mizuno e lançado tempos mais tarde pelo estúdio Madhouse. No Brasil o anime foi lançado pela Livraria Devit e os mangás pela Editora Conrad.

Nesse livro vamos seguir as regras do sistema brasileiro Old Dragon. Apesar de ser uma adaptação, tentarei não deturpar o sistema e muito menos o cenário, lembrando
que esse é meu primeiro e-book e depois de anos, meu primeiro contato com RPG. Fui motivado a fazê-lo depois de ler algumas iniciativas old school.
