The adventurers begin in a bar and wind up in a dungeon, with a few plot twists to liven up the game. All standard races and classes should apply. It is presumed that the player characters are heroes, and not anti-heroes or villains, though the adventure employs self-preservation as a motivation. Feel free to modify the adventure to suit your own campaign and game mastering style.
Drinks and a Dungeon uses several thief traps and other thief-like tropes, so thieves and basic trap detection would be helpful to the adventuring party. Also, characters with area effect abilities will have a distinct advantage against the swarms of rodents and insects that the party is expected to encounter.
