From publisher blurb:
True Beasts are intelligent animals, the way gamers have always wanted to play them. They are thematically similar, but mechanically distinct from the animalistic bipeds created with Fursona: The Definitive Guide to Creating Anthropomorphic Characters. The two races- True Beasts and Anthros- can fit together nicely in a single campaign, where fur-less humans are the odd men out.
The main differences between True Beasts and Anthros is that while True Beasts are a very modular player race, they lack the infinite options offered to custom-built Anthros. Physically, they are quadrupedal magical beasts, rather than humanoids. They are also more all ages than some the more carnal possibilities offered by Anthros, and designed for more traditional fantasy adventuring.
