The Random Quest Generator for the C.A.R.D.S. System provides basic mechanisms for creating "quests" by using a standard or stripped pack of playing cards. Stripping the deck prior to use allows the GM to "customize" the resulting randomized quest.
Major steps noted include Map Preparation, Landscape Features, Modes of Play, a Turn System, Tile (area) Contents, Movement, and time of day. Some of these are optional rules for the basic system but the document primarily deals with pregame preparation.
Though quite useful, the document is unfortunately poorly formatted which makes use somewhat tedious.
