It has been brought to our attention that parts of our system, namely the rules for resolving initiative and other resisted Skill rolls, are felt by some to be too cumbersome during actual play. Unless otherwise noted, the following rules for resolving Skill rolls supersede the ones listed in the Dreamwalker: Roleplaying in the Land of Dreams core rulebook.
Now, when making a normal Skill roll, the player wants to roll as close to his Base Chance as he can without going over. When making a resisted Skill roll, the character who succeeds with the highest die roll wins the contest.
