The following rules are a modification to Jeff Freeman's starship design rules, intended for creation of smaller fighter craft, typically with a crew of less than five. These rules work, in most ways, identically to Jeff's starship combat rules. The differences fall in to two categories. First there are different emphases that small craft combat require: emphases on the skills and attributes of individual pilots, on movement and facing, and on maneuverability; and less emphasis on overall ship capabilities, on the use of sensors, and on crew. These changes permeate these rules.
These rules add small spacecraft combat options to the Prism game system, partially introducing a science fiction genre to the universal rules base.
