Characters have Attributes, including Brains, Brawn, Looks, Cool, Luck, Health, Wits, and Tech. Abilities have numeric scores generated by 1D6. Characters also have 1D6 points to put into Talents (Skills) in any combination desired. Skills are not provided but a few are offered as samples (Photography, Getting a Date, and Staking Vampires). Characters also have a Superpower, randomly determined from a list of eighteen. Characters then select two virtues, one vice, and a Quirk. Characters that are at least sixteen years old also have a car; all characters receive and allowance.
Action resolution, including combat, has the player roll 1D10 and add any applicable modifier. Simultaneously the GM rolls 1D10 and adds the Difficult Rating. If the player result exceeds the GM result, the action succeeds.
