Characters in the game all are rats. Rats have six Attributes: Scurrying, Thinking, Chittering, Abilities, Crumbs, and Glory. Each Attribute has a numeric score assigned from a point pool. Abilities (assuming a non-zero score) are subsequently randomly generated. Given the characters are rats, Abilities are something like super powers, though not all and absolute benefits. Action resolution utilizes a modified d10 roll to influence narrative outcomes.
There also is a cat in the house, and possibly traps. These elements are managed by group consensus and a few rules.
