Characters have Attributes (Size, Maneuvers Delay, Quickness, HDR, Endurance, PSI Delay, Spotting, and HDM). These have numeric values assigned from a points pool and using a formula. Characters also have a variety of Skills. Numerous Traits are then derived from Attributes and Skills. Wounds are tracked at levels. Action resolution generally uses a modified dice roll versus target, with exploding dice. A large variety of special circumstances in combat are provided.
