From the introduction:
This document contains three scenarios revolving around terrible locations. A haunted house, a tropical resort that hides a hideous secret, and an ordinary courtroom that leads to any one of several dark fates.
These adventures do not require anything specific from player characters, in terms of histories or abilities, although combat training may be detrimental to the shock and tension of some situations.
All three scenarios have been designed to begin longer campaigns that the individual GM designs based on the initial adventure and the (surviving?) player characters.
