From publisher blurb:
The fame of the village of Jarnborg reaches far and wide thanks to the reputation of its founder and leading citizen, the dwarf weapon smith Dane Bearclaw. Your party joins the stream of visitors who come to this remote settlement in the shadow of a great mountain range in search of the handiwork of this legendary (and temperamental) craftsman. During their stay, however, the disappearance of Dane Bearclaw's book of secret knowledge throws Janrborg into an uproard. The villagers can see their livelihoods disappearing before their eyes — as much as his fearsome temper aggravates them, his reputation for unique tradecraft brings visitors with spending money. Once his trade secrets are no longer secret and anyone can copy them, who would bother to come all the way out to this forsaken place? If the party can recover Dane Bearclaw's book, they'll earn the village's gratitude — and score at least one weapon of extraordinary quality, on the house.
