The hamlet of Blustich is a town is on the rise, with groups of refugees from the war against Sembia moving in to help rebuild. The natives of Blustich have tolerated these newcomers but have not always been exceptionally welcoming. The refugees are largely forced to fend for themselves.
While the adults work hard to build a life for themselves, the children of Blustich are often left to play in the town squares or the fields of the farms that lay to the north of the village proper. Today, a group of refugee children went out into the fields and though it is now growing dark, they have yet to return.
Unknown to the people of Blustich, a glade near their town houses an ancient magical artifact. When the children uncovered it while playing, they also unleashed an ancient evil who had been sealed away in that glade many years ago.
