This second in the series deals with Desert Environs. It discusses the effects of scorching heat, unending sand, sunstroke and generally lethal conditions one is likely to encounter in the shifting dunes, salt flats and badlands of your world.
Now, instead of simply sending the investigators on an adventure to hunt down a villain, the Keeper can have their quarry flee across the desert. Instead of simply showing up at a lost tomb, they end up trudging across a vast plain of salt while a merciless sun beats down upon them.
