Sometimes, the characters may be delving around into the less-than-legal side of things in a fantasy setting. They may need goods or services that are harder to get hold of. This list has 100 different things they could encounter. In some cases, these are initial contacts with people who provide illegal services. In other cases, they are offered goods which are either illegal to own or are regulated. The former includes dangerous items and things which obviously have a primary use that is illegal. The latter can include items that may have a legal use, but also have uses popular with those on the wrong side of the law. Finally, there is information that would want to be kept secret by its owners.

Here are some sample results:
Remote Eye - A eye-like device that can be placed somewhere, paired with a mirror. When the user of the mirror is within 100’ of the eye, they can see what the eye sees in the mirror. The eye cannot see without light, and has the normal range of vision that a human eye does. It can only look in the direction it is initially pointed.
Returning Coins - Coins that can be used to buy things, but which will return to the purchaser when a command word is uttered.
Roses - A pot of beautiful red roses that give off a vapour at night that makes those in the vicinity sleep more deeply.
Seal - The seal, in the shape of a gold ring, of a local official, that would be used for sealing official documents with wax. The seal appears to be genuine.
Seal Remover - A device that can be used to remove wax seals from documents without damaging them, then reapply them afterwards. Useful for reading sealed correspondence without detection.
