In my previous article Getting Serious With It, I discussed how role-playing is a cooperative hobby and how the GM and players work together to set the tone for the session. Really, both sides work together to set the tone for the campaign. And one of the ways to do that and to push investment to the limit is to let the players take the lead (at least sometimes) to flesh out the world around them so that it’s guaranteed to be something they want to explore.
