Once a decade, for a few short days, the rare Belrus fruit comes into fruition. This luxurious fruit resides within the heart of the cursed Elkwood forest and is known for its indescribable taste and its incredible ability to make any dish a masterpiece. Worth a king’s ransom in weight, the fruit’s limited availability is not the only bane of any would be consumer. This cursed forest of death, evil and despair is a waiting trap any unprepared adventuring party.
In anticipation of the oncoming blossom, the local king has put forth a decree for as much of the fruit as any brave adventurer can gather. Offing a vast reward for each piece of fruit brought to him still edible. The king has sent word far and wide, posting flyers in villages and setting up a small staging ground at the entrance of the dark forest.
From here the party will venture into Elkwood’s heart, facing a series of monsters, rival competitors and traps to add to the maddening maze of the forest itself. Those that reach the heart of the forest will face an unexpected twist. For the Belrus tree is a rare sentient tree filled with the cursed soul of the local king’s great-great grandfather inside.
Will the party save the man and lift the curse upon the forest? or will they steal the fruit and gain their weight in gold?
The module is designed as a small 1-2 session story for a New or Experienced adventuring party from levels 1-5. It's created in an interchangeable and morphic manner to allow the DM to run a fun light module, or one that will challenge the party to its core.

The Staging Grounds - For introducing the story, players and some of the locals.
Elkwood Forest - Split into 3 distinct sections each containing varied monsters, encounters and traps.
The Belrus Tree - Where the truth of the forests curse is revealed, a choice is made, and the consequences faced.
The Return - Where the party will receive their reward and the conclusion to the module.
