Swamps, mires, bogs and marshes can be found all over the world, wherever water isn't frozen. Even places where it is frozen may thaw out and turn swampy. They are places where travel itself can be dangerous, where it can be easy to get lost, end up stuck in water, mud and quicksand and encounter dangerous creatures. This supplement has 100 different encounters that can be used to liven up a swamp trek or as a source of potential adventure hooks. The encounters may be hazardous, odd or perhaps even useful.

Fresh water trickles down a small hillock sticking out of the mire into the filthy water below, making the spot of a tiny spring of clean water.
Gravestones tilting at different angles and slowly sinking into the ground are surrounded by a rusting and decrepit iron fence. They comprise a small, long-abandoned and sinking graveyard.
Half-in, half-out of a wide channel of water is a wooden boatshed. The shed does not appear to have been used for some time, and the wood is rotting. Attempting to enter the shed will cause it to collapse, possibly on characters.
Hanging from a tree are half a dozen skulls. Dangling below each skull are half a dozen bones. The skulls and bones chime in a surprisingly musical manner when caught by the wind.
Holes cut in the ground, some seemingly quite recent, others much older and now filled with water, mark where peat has been cut from the bog.
One page is the front cover, one the front matter and one page is ads.
The supplement is also available in a version for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, which has Pathfinder stats for some of the encounters. You do not need both versions.
