This is a role playing game in which you can be any sort of person you choose in nearly any sort of place or time you choose. You may play a normal person, a baker perhaps or the head of the Parent Teacher Association at the local elementary school, or perhaps you will play a daring hero rescuing the handsome prince from the clutches of a vile space wizard in the far flung reaches of the galaxy. You will have goals, ambitions, dreams, and fears. You may do great things. You may do mundane things. That is between you and the capricious will of Fate. You may play by yourself or with friends. If you play alone, your story will be guided by the Hands of Fate, a table of random events, opportunities, successes and failures. If you play with friends, one of you may take up the mantle of the Voice of Fate. They will interpret and narrate and dictate the events of the story in which you do not have complete control over, in other words, you will choose your actions, but they will guide your consequences. Or perhaps, you will play with a group of friends and you will share control of the Voice of Fate, either taking turns or choosing collectively what Fate has to say. But in the end, we all answer to Fate, however it speaks with us. It is a game about little moments and big and the complexity all lives have.
