A german scenario book for the Cthulhu RPG revolving around expeditions the dangerous and rather unknowns spots in the world in the 1920s, with additional source/background informations.

An introducing essay supports players and gamemaster in the planning of expedition scenarios and depicts what man really depends on in the middle of nowhere, and does this not by extensive equipment lists, encounter charts and travel speed calculations.
"The Heart of Darkness" beats in the Belgian Congo. To there the adventurers depart in this scenario to capture on legend of cryptozoology - the Mokele Mbembe. Trying to get on the trail of this dinosaur-like creature, the journeys leads them deeper into the river labyrinths of the Congo, into a undiscovered and wild region housing more horrors than the dinohunters would ever like to meet.
"Eternal Ice" rules the polar regions of the world, but between the enormouse galciers of greenlands outbacks the adventurer soon realize, that not all of this ice if from this world, and that the search for a long lost airship expedition is not the only reason for their own mission...
"The Lost City" in the Andes has only recently been discovered, when a team of explorers already disappears in it without a trace. Will the adventurers uncover the secret of the ruins, or will they too become prey of an eons-old terror?
"Curso Cannibale" sends the adventurers on the hunt for a multi-million heir into the green hell of the Amazonas. There they not only have to prove in a murderous racing duel, but will also realize that in the tropical brush the hunters soon become the hunted...
"The Final Rest of the Minna B." is surrounded by mysteries: The freighter disappeared of the norwegian coast. To investigate the circumstances the adventurers are sent there, where few days later a lone survivor appears: a tribal village in the mountains of Papua New Guinea...
