Fifth Cycle is a fantasy adventure roleplaying game. The premise of the game is that the characters are adventurers hired to escort archaeologists into dangerous ruins with the hope of uncovering important treasures from previous cycles.
Of course, Fifth Cycle provides plenty of other material for players to use and adventures to have even if one doesn't want to hang out with archaeologists.
