A digital random number generator for role-playing games using light emitting diodes for the result, a single button for the "roll", and a multi-position switch for the type of "dice" to roll. Settings included on the switch for 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 20, and %.
A patent for this device was filed in 1981, with an illustration showing an early cylindrical wand shaped version. A later version had flat top and bottom surfaces and was wider.
The Dragonbone was available in a variety of colors including "bone" (ivory), "charcoal" (black), and "blood" (red). A white version apparently was produced also.
A later, smaller "model" was advertised as the Dragontooth.
