Description Edit | History

From the back of the cover:

"Władcy losu" to hybryda gry RPG i gry strategicznej.

Tkacze reprezentują przeciwstawne sobie siły: Dobro i Zło, albo Jasność i Ciemność - jakkolwiek by je nazwano.

Tkacze posiadają specyficzne cechy i oryginalne moce.

and translation:

"Władcy losu" (eng. "The Lords of Fate") is a hybrid of RPG and strategy game. It allows you to play characters with powerful psychic abilities, and yet it is as exciting to as "stock market." It requires from players to constantly devise new and sophisticated strategies and gameplans.

The foundation system is a theory which says that the fate of people ensured by the Weavers, who in moments of crucial importance assume the responsibility for forcing them to do Good or Evil. Weavers represent opposing forces: Good and Evil, or the Brightness and Darkness - however you call them. Players take the Weavers and include "protection" of a single human being. They are envoys of Destiny, and form two opposing camps, playing against each other. Quite often on who will win, depends on the fate of the world.

Weavers have special features and unique powers. It is a system where instead of the typical characteristics (strength, dexterity, etc.) there are: assistance (power to affect the ward), influence (impact on the environment), creation (manipulate time and space), power of an avatar (allowing manifest themselves in the mortal world), and force (not to be confused with force of the jedi, though) . With the wide range of inspirational abilities, players will automatically come up with surprising, clever solutions, which gives much satisfaction.

In "Władcy losy," we can play at any time in the history of the world (i.e. ancient Rome, the October Revolution, the conquest of space) or even in other fantastic worlds (as a wrapper for other RPGs).

The author of the game is Krzysztof Piskorski, a winner of Quentin (note: this is polish annual award for best RPG scenarios) in 2001.
