Game Info from Designers Blog:
The game is run by a gamemaster, called Spider Grandmother, and the players create roles (characters) who are native Pueblo people in the time of Popé's Pueblo Revolt of 1680, in Nuevo Mexico.
Rather than traditional written character sheets, roles are represented by knotted leather cords, strung with beads of different colors, representing what a role holds sacred, what she abhors, or what forces are at work in her life. Beads are added or lost throughout the story game.
