An official Wizards of the Coast D&D 3.0 series comprised of (as of 2009) only two titles, the Book of Vile Darkness and the Book of Exalted Deeds, both named for iconic artifacts from earlier editions of the Dungeons & Dragons game.

In particular, the Book of Vile Darkness proved quite controversial, perhaps indicative of why the series was never expanded.
