The Iron Game Chef competition in 2002 was held October 9 through 16, and hosted by Mike Holmes. Game entries were required to incorporate two or more of the words: Africa, Art, Court, and Numerology.
This very early iteration of the Iron Game Chef competition required users to post their games in the competition forum itself; thus, most entries unfortunately do not exist any longer except as simple text.
There were nine total entries, three of which were disqualified (one was incomplete, one was not a complete game, one was not deemed an RPG). This left six competitors, of which one was selected as the winner.
In addition to the games enumerated here, the submissions included these disqualified entries:
- Animal Moot by Zak Arntson (incomplete; withdrawn)
- At the Court of King Suliman by Matt Machell (deemed not an RPG)
- Bones by Gareth Martin (deemed not a complete game)
