In 2006, Kevin Allen Jr. organized an RPG design challenge around a fairly simple concept. Entrants first designed a one-page character sheet. Then, entrants were assigned somebody else's character sheet and designed a game around the sheet.
The contest resulted in thirty-nine completed games (one, apparently, is no longer extant). Approximately sixty-nine character sheets were submitted (different lists offer slightly different counts). A few character sheets were used more than once; many were not used.
The contest organization was somewhat haphazard, resulting - eventually - in a "top six" winner announcement, enumerating these games:
The image gallery for this series includes several character sheet images that were not used for completed games, as well as including all sheets used in games. There are several character sheets that haven't survived - including a few that were used in games (the game document is extant, but did not reproduce the sheet).
