Living Arcanis adventures come in three general types - Hard Point, Soft Point, and Battle Interactive.
Hard Point adventures are the most common type, and taken in series they tell a complete "story arc". They are intended to be played in sequential order, and are intended to be run in four hour time slots. A less common type used in seasons 3 and 4 was the Anchor Point (AP), functionally similar to the Hard Point adventures.
Soft Point adventures are intended to explore new aspects of the Arcanis setting. They can be played in any order (unless otherwise noted), and are intended to be run in four hour time slots. (SP)
Battle Interactives focus heavily on combat and often are intended to be run in longer sessions; there are not very many of this type of scenario.
The campaign was played in a series of Years, with each Year having a complete "story arc" composed of that year's Hard Point adventures. The scenario codes that were (eventually) used would be something like LA-HP2-03 - Living Arcanis, Hard Point, Year 2, Scenario 3.
