Wilderlands of High Fantasy is a role-playing game campaign setting. It grew from the officially licensed D&D material from Judges Guild in the 1970s and 1980s, including City State of the Invincible Overlord.
The initial setting was presented in 1979 as Wilderlands of High Fantasy
and included five major regions, including:
- Campaign Map 1 - City State of the Invincible Overlord
- Campaign Map 2 - Barbarian Atlantis
- Campaign Map 3 - Glow Worm Steppes
- Campaign Map 4 - Tarantis
- Campaign Map 5 - Valon
Subsequent products expanded the setting to a total of 18 half-continent sized maps (some dealing with ocean settings). The setting also was used as the locale for numerous adventure modules and sourcebooks published by Judges Guild.
In 2005, the setting was reworked and republished as Wilderlands of High Fantasy (d20 Version) by Necromancer Games.
