Fire Emblem is a fantasy tactical role-playing game franchise published by Nintendo. The series includes dozens of main games and several spin-offs.
Fire Emblem has been adapted for tabletop roleplaying several times. To date, all efforts have been pursued by fans and none of the games are "authorized". Note that most game products use intellectual property - especially art - in ways that probably are copyright-infringing.
The setting used in the various videogame implementations varies in broad detail, but always takes place within a Medieval or Renaissance-themed time period. The protagonist is often royalty, but always from some type of military background, and is caught in the conflict of two or more countries across a continent - fighting for a cause.
