Arion Games will be at the Festival with Maelstrom and Advanced Fighting Fantasy books.

They will also have a selection of All Rolled Up dice bags available. If you have seen reports from GenCon and Concrete Cow 13 1/2, All Rolled Up has been getting out and about with many fans. If you have thought about buying one and really wanted to see one in person, then this event will be your next chance (and we will be at IndieCon and Dragonmeet later in the year, with some representation at other events, like Internationale Spieltage SPIEL at Essen).

As Baz Stevens on RPG Treehouse says:

Quote:
The pictures on the website do a good job of showing you how it all works, but it doesn’t give you the essentially tactile nature of it. These things feel great. They roll up well, and have a certain heft to them that I find really appealing, like a good cricket ball. Mine lays nice and flat mid game, and the dice sit in the bag well, with easier access than the usual purse style bags I’ve been used to.

In this thread you talk a lot about the 2013 event, but don't mention when or if it's taking place this year. Please to enlighten?

Certainly! This thread was made for the 2013 event, and I was going to make a new post for the 2014 event closer to the time, but there's no harm in providing information now

This year we have moved to a much better location, one that is fit for the purpose: The Royal Gunpowder Mills, in Waltham Abbey, Essex (Though it is more appropriate to say it is just north of the M25 northern section!) http://www.royalgunpowdermills.com/

20-21st September will be the two days of the event this year.

We once more look forward to welcoming Re-Enactors, LARPers, RPGers, Airsoft fans, and many many more.

I will be providing more information as and when I have it, but you can also watch out website and follow us of Facebook and Twitter.

Thank you for your interest BigCat!

Thanks! I've shared it to the UK roleplayers and Phoenix Games Club forums. In fact, my Sci-Fi Beta Kappa co-writer Dan Marriott (Dan_Hellsing on the forums) was there last year- he's heavily into larping.

I'm not on FB, is there any chance someone could set up an event page on G+? That's where I do all my social networking.

Just for you, I made one

(long version: https://plus.google.com/communities/108802000582463742029 )

Currently there is just the video there, but we will populate it more over the next month or so!

I know Dan Marriott, indeed Thanks for passing the link/info on!

Thanks, but it's not just for me- you'll see that there are 11 members already. I bang on about this a lot but G+ really is the future of social networking, especially for gamers.

Also, you look awfully young in your profile pic, do you have permission from your parents to stay up late and organise cons and such?

EDIT: I can see now that you're all growed up- is that your daughter in the wallpaper photo? And you're up to 18 members- coolio!
