I created a new scene but was sort of waiting for confirmation from others on which characters were involved. But I can get started.

Updated the main IC page. I've checked off one 'crisis'. Znirp, is that still what you wanted to do?

********

Kali, you can use touchstone powers to let everyone know what the average joe think about this situation. You don't have to say something like: "oh, i was downtown, and heard people talking about..."; just whatever your character feels become what the general population feels. For simplicity's sake, and this is for everyone else too, why don't we explicitly state when we are using our role abilities in the bottom of our posts.

So, if touchstone was letting us know what the population thought, the bottom of his post would include:

Touchstone: ...

Yup. Just wanted to make sure after knowing the full scope of your choices if you wanted to stick with it.

Kali, since you created the scene, you get to choose when its finished or not.

I'm not saying that has to be now - just a reminder that you have that responsibility.

Ok, for future reference, how about scene -creators just add scene! into the IC thread when they want it to end.

So, regency, you get to choose to check off crossroad, crisis, or time passes. Because you are touchstone, you get a second action as well - which can only be spent on crisis. So you could tick off crisis twice, or crisis one and something else. Or just something else and no crisis.

Everyone who is in the scene gets a chance to opportunity to post a reaction to the scene. Remeber they are just short narrations - not roleplay.

As a good example of what a reaction could be, Kali could write up a narration of what he does after the news - and his attempts to spread the word to the children. Not saying he has to do that; I just think it's a good illustration.

Question from a lurker
Shouldn't the Consequences be marked with the names of the Perspective? I know it doesn't matter now, as there is only one, but that could change rapidly, couldn't it?

We were just playing the first crossroad with training wheels on, so no challenges and overthrows. Meaning i'm the only perspective. I did completley forget about identifying who the perspective was - and I'll make sure to add that next crossroad. Thanks.

***
Sorry for the slow posting rate guys. I've been a bit busy lately.

Ok, so unless anyone has anything else to add it's now Kali's turn to make a scene.

After Kali's scene, everyone will have made one scene. I'll leave it up to you guys to decide, but would you prefer to - after the next scene - skip to resolving this crossroad? The first crossroad, done without overthrows and challenges, was meant so you could understood the basic concept of the game without too many extra rules. If you guys feel like you've got it, adding fluidity to roles makes the game alot more dynamic and fun.

However, we can also RP this crossroad to the end as well.
