So this is the right format?

This information on the front page:

Quote:
- Submitter’s name and RPG Geek Username
- Title
- The mention: "RPG Geek One Sheet Contest 2015"
- Any illustration you'd like to include – this is optional and shouldn't infringe on any intellectual property.
- The following mentions :
"GUMSHOE, [XX] are a trademarks of Pelgrane Press Ltd and used with permission." (Please replace [XX] by the game you're using, such as Trail of Cthulhu, Ashen Stars, etc.)

"I agree to allow Pelgrane Press, Ltd and to allow anyone to redistribute my submission non-commercially. This submission cannot be distributed commercially." (change 'I' to 'We' and 'my' to 'our' if several participants are credited).

And then you can use the front page and second page however you wish?

Absolutely!

I'd love to something for Ashen Stars again. But it looks like it is going to be Trail of Cthulhu.

What a coincidence! Robin D. Laws has just released a One Sheet GUMSHOE adventure for Fear Itself too!

You can grab it here:

So we have to go up against the person who wrote Gumshoe?

Challenge.
Accepted.

Well, Robin didn't submit anything to the contest. He just wrote an adventure, just like Gareth Hanrahan. By the way, both links are in the Opening Post.

I'm tempted to do that as well, making it completely generic. It feels a bit unsafe thoug. Like I don't have a framework.

Live on the edge! Although I don't think avoiding a specific existing setting means it has to be generic. Mine is firmly rooted in a specific place and time and the inspirations should be obvious. I let the inspirations provide the framework.

Yeah, well generic sort of. I am writing about a political conference. I am wondering if a should make it a 30's American conference, or one where it could take place any where and any time.

Re: RPG Geek One Sheet GUMSHOE Contest 2015
I think I'm going to do an Ashen Stars adventure, though so far the idea could probably be converted to other settings with a wee bit of tweaking.

God bless,
Kezle

Re: RPG Geek One Sheet GUMSHOE Contest 2015
I have a question!

I have a hook, a backstory, a spine, some villains... Thus, a scenario for badass Night's Black Agents.

But, my writing contains several references to the Bosnian War... Do you think I should add the [MATURE] tag?

That's up to you. But, if they're not overtly gory I wouldn't include the tag.

If you think the details are too graphic and could shock some GMs and players, then do so.
