Episode III
The Force Unknown
Part 2

a Club Squirrel adventure

Player-Characters (the Squirrels)
Elam-Darr – Corellian pilot
Spanners – Rodian tech
R4-G1 – R4 astromech droid

Non-Player-Characters
Vrath Kaan - Devaronian explorer

The Squirrels head to The Pits, a half mile wide pit south of Korad city. Formerly an Ugnaught foundry it is now ran by Jawa scavengers and thieves. The Squirrels approach in an air-car, thick plumes of black smoke and gas rise from The Pits. Semi-circular landing pads dot the walls of The Pits, and the Squirrels soon spot the freighter they had been told about, and plan to steal. But as they approach they realise they are not the first. Several dead Jawas can be seen and two Yuzzem thugs can be seen on the landing pad.

The Squirrels start the fire-fight and soon end it. Once they land and approach the freighter they spot a Devaronian lurking in the shadows. He approaches and thanks the Squirrels for killing the thugs and getting his ship back. The Squirrels quickly see through his rouse, and that he is a con man also after the ship. Outnumbered the Devaronian retreats.

The Squirrels examine their new ship and (to the Players surprise) discover the ship is The Last Archangel (the ship belonging to their PCs in the previous Edge of the Empire campaign).

Using the information taken from the Imperial Officer (in the previous session) the Squirrels take The Last Archangel and make the difficult hyper-journey to the planet Kuras III.

Kuras III is still within the Elrood Sector but cut off by asteroids and gas clouds amongst other space phenomena. With the information from the Imperial Officer R4 manages to calculate a course. The planet is a harsh volcanic wasteland (see galaxy guide 3)

The Last Archangel enters the atmosphere and the Squirrels scan the planet. It does not take long for them to discover a domed city. They receive no communication, the domes doors do not open. The city appears high tech, but no life signs can be detected. The Squirrels land on a plateau a mile away from the city and continue their scanning. After several hours they suddenly get a single life form detected from the city and receive a message… “I am awake.”

To be continued…
