As part of this year's PbP Gameday VII convention, I'm going to run a series of 4 linked quests called the Rose Street Revenge starting 13/8/18. This will be using the Pathfinder 2.0 Playtest ruleset.

A wave of abductions & killings has struck Absalom, & when a Pathfinder falls prey to this criminal, the PCs set out to find the culprit & solve the so-called Rose Street Revenge.

Less than a year ago, Absalom fended off a siege of demonflesh constructs and the living dead. The siege lord freed any slave aiding in Absalom’s defense. Since then, the city’s slave trade mostly disappeared and many groups, including the Pathfinder Society, welcomed Absalom’s newest citizens. Recently, several ex-slaves turned up dead and a few more disappeared. The Society doesn’t often investigate serial killings, but one of its newest recruits is the latest victim. Now, a band of Pathfinders must follow the clues and end the threat. “The Rose Street Revenge” is a series of three quests, averaging 60 minutes each and playable in any order, followed by a finale. Written by Leo Glass, Thurston Hillman, Joe Pasini, and Linda Zayas-Palmer.

There is not much more I can say as I don't have access to the quest itself (not to mention the ruleset) as it is not yet generally available (Drops early August).

Looking for 6 interested parties.... apply below.

If there are many interested parties, I will roll a lottery.

Do you think there will be Pregens, Phillip? If so, I would be interested in trying the new rules. Not really sure I’d have time to come up with a new character, but maybe.

I think they used pregens at the various conventions that have run PF2 PT demos but I’m not sure. I think the Playtest is also supposed to playtest the creation of new characters so making your own character may be required as well. Can’t really answer for sure until the content drops at the start of August.

One of the biggest differences is that characters get a bonus to all d20 checks equal to their level. They have additional introduced 2 more levels of success so now you have critical failur, failure, success and critical success.

There are a lot of changes. If you go over to the Paizo website, you can go to the blog section and check out the playtest blogposts. They have been posting them every Monday and Friday.

Although you're already oversubscribed, after signing up for the playtest and playing a demo game at UK Games Expo I'm really keen to try this so would like to add my name to the hat.
