While we are on the subject of systems....

1. I decided not to combine Rolemaster 1st and 2nd into Rolemaster the RPG, since Middle-Earth Roleplaying was already nominated by virtue of being in the top 7 last year.

2. Should Pathfinder Roleplaying Game instead be listed as Pathfinder?

3. Should Lone Wolf Gamebooks instead be listed as Lone Wolf?

4. Should Fighting Fantasy Gamebooks instead be listed as Fighting Fantasy?

5. Should Judge Dredd the Role-Playing Game (Games Workshop) instead be listed as Judge Dredd?

My feeling for 2 is maybe not? I don't know enough about 3-5 to make a determination.

I don't have a particularly strong opinion on 2, but the way the families work on here, it lumps completely different things together.
Lone Wolf Gamebooks are precisely that: gamebooks. But there is also an RPG, and they get lumped together, even though it's a completely different experience. Same with Fighting Fantasy.
There are a few different iterations of a Judge Dredd RPG, and the family lumps them together, even though they are completely incompatible.

In short, I'd rather keep the RPGs nominated, and not the families, unless expressly specified in the nomination.

I'll also go on record that I don't feel like an age limit will serve the GLAIR award well. I'd rather let the voting rounds sort it all out -- no need for restrictive rules.

Makes sense for those, thanks!
