The Crew went up to a level 1 crew in the previous session.
We selected Quarters and the second level of Secure for our Hideout (to keep out any further ghosts we... create) as our crew advancements: Crate the Slide muscled and manipulated squatters out of the hotel rooms just above the hotel laundry where we have our lab, while Spook the Lurk paints strange symbols in Leviathan blood on the walls with an obvious distaste for the chore.

The crew wants to gain more turf, to have more places to sell Nightmarket Black, their particular brand of drugs, now that they have a steady supply line of Leviathan blood through their alliance with the Foghounds. But the Billhooks are still hanging over their heads like a dark cloud -- so why not tackle both in one go? They know that the boss of the Billhooks, a chap named Tarvul, is in Ironhook prison, and that his second-in-command, Erin, has taken over the management of the gang. Perhaps they can drive a wedge in between those two, to weaken them? And perhaps they can show him he can trust them by supplying him with Nightmarket Black -- to sell inside Ironhook prison?

Spook plies her lover/contact in the Bluecoats to get a name of a visitor on the list: an 'uncle' of Tarvul. Mr. Molesley the Cutter leaves his granddaughter in the care of Crate, who has pointed out details from his paintings to her before. Mr Molesley takes Jubilee the Leech with him on his trip to Ironhook.
Their names are checked (Molesley will be the uncle, Jubilee plays the role of cousin) and they are admitted on board of the ferry to Ironhook. Soon, they are sitting opposite of Tarvul in the visitation room. Tarvul clearly has quite a bit of clout in there, because he can command the guards to leave them... He is at ease and in full control of the situation. He knows he doesn't have an uncle visiting, so he is curious as to what they want of him.
Turns out that Tarvul is quite secure in his knowledge that he is still in full control of the Billhooks: Erin is, after all, his sister. But Molesley does succeed in sowing a seed of doubt in Tarvul's mind... Jubilee is totally nervous, and makes an impression of a bumbling fool on Tarvul, but Tarvul does get a 'sample package' of Nightmarket Black without anyone noticing.

Crate asks Spook to keep an eye on the duo to make sure they don't attract unwanted attention when they return. Sure enough: they have picked up a tail! She tails the tail, and Molesley sees her in the crowd. As Jubilee goes into a haberdashery to get a new ribbon for his hat (which is how he smuggled the drugs into Ironhook), Molesley ducks into an alley to wait for his new 'friend'...
