Yeah, it's kinda annoying that it's "no-shipping" by default.

Apropos annoying: This being an international trade, is it possible to perhaps have a little better description of shipping terms other than "first $10 international"? Do people who write that sincerely think people outside the US will even consider adding their items to their want list? I just don't get it. I'm interested in how much _I_ would have to pay, not how much you pay :p

If your interested in an item, contact that person to see what the shipping cost is to your location. It's not feasible to list the shipping cost for every destination.

Is there a more preferred format? For international, shipping is largely dependent upon where you are shipping to so its hard to give an idea for everywhere.

It's actually pretty convenient, because these days, international shipping costs from the US are the same no matter where the recipient is located.

For the average softcover RPG book, that would be:

(1) Arm
(1) Leg

See? Easy!

If you're interested in having your item traded away, maybe make some effort to do so? I would say it's perfectly feasible:

Shipping to Europe: $30
Shipping to Australia: $40
etc.

I don't think that would be too hard to do, and saves everyone a whole lot of trouble. Nobody is expecting you to list every single country. In my experience, people are extremely slow responding to shipping estimate requests, if they bother to respond at all, as it seems more of a hassle than their willing to make.

Make a rough estimate? Bump it up an extra $5 or $10 so you don't get burned? In the European trades at least, the rule is to state how much the recipient has to pay. Basically the intent is to be as clear in your shipping terms as possible. Stuff like "First $10 to X", "Mirror shipping", and the likes are anything but clear.

I will try and see how easy it is to do when I post my items. The issue becomes determining weight, etc. But I get the wanting to know the potential shipping costs.

I am considering participating and listing some Pathfinder PDF bundles I have extra. They're unused, but from 2017, if I recall correctly. They don't appear to have any expiration. I have no reason to expect they wouldn't work, but also don't want to assume.

I'm looking for advice - should I list these with a note? Should I not list them? Does anyone have experience with Humble-sourced bundles and Paizo?

Appreciate the input!

As long as the PDF codes have not been used and you are sure they will work, then I don't see an issue. However, if they are just the PDFs then I believe technically they are licensed to you as the purchaser and could not be used in the math trade.

I have not gotten books from Humble Bundle so I don't know how that works.

They're codes to Paizo's site, so they're unclaimed. I've used others right after purchasing and also gotten subsequent bundles with some overlap, which is why these are extra.

I guess I should just sacrifice one on the alter of testing so I can be sure there is no age related issue!

If you can confirm they are good then I'd say you are good to go with that! I'm very curious how well it performs bc while we've had video games on Steam before, I can't remember if we've had PDFs.

No Steam involved. Codes for Paizo PDFs - CRB and the like. It's just as if you'd purchased a Pathfinder PDF from Paizo.com.

Wow...lots of great stuff on the math trade!

Right now 41% of users have submitted. When it hits 50% I'll run a test to see what our stats are.

Sure. These are the current users trading at this moment.

ALLISMOM3
CRIMSONFOX
DUKE_SCOOKUM
EIEIOWEN
JIMMYTHESAINT
JPACT
JVK1127
MELQUISEDEQ
OBERON166
REIKSGUARD
TREVLIX
ZAUTMAN

THIS IS NOT A GUARANTEE THESE USERS WILL BE IN THE FINAL RESULTS.

If you are not in the list, it could be for a few reasons. First, some/all of the people who want items from may not have submitted their want lists.

Second, your want lists may be too narrow. This is not an issue if you want to keep them like this - it is absolutely your prerogative.

How can you increase your odds for trading? Honestly, IMO the only way is to add more items to your want lists. But don't do that unless you will absolutely be happy if you trade for those (new) items. Murphy's Math Trade Law states that the item you want the least is the one you will most likely get.
