The show was more comedic than serious.
There was (almost) always a pretty girl asking for help.

Just how many tractor-trailer tv shows can there be ? angry wow

More than I thought, apparently.

The “monkey” part of the clue is important.

Yes, indeed.

Claude Akins played Sonny Pruit in the earlier "Movin' On" series, then eventually played Sheriff Lobo on "B.J. and the Bear". The 70s were peak CB Radio days.

You're up with the next clues.

Second time through for that one, but I guess it's thematically appropriate, at least.

I thought it sounded familiar.

This show from the early 80s featured a team of teenagers who solved crimes through their use of computers and hacking. The production staff included consultants to ensure that the technology was at least plausible, which caused backlash from parents concerned that it would glorify computer crime.

In response, the show introduced a police officer character who consulted with the teens to give legitimacy to their activity.

Pretty sure it's Whiz Kids.

Based on one of the episodes, we used to refer to anything we thought was inferior tech as "It has a membrane keyboard!"

So did my ZX Spectrum. Several, in fact, they wore out. (And by "did" I mean "does" - the Spectrum is still somewhere in the house.)
