At the moment nothing, but I had a bit to much beer for my birthday so I'm going to try to get it out of my system now.

so are we going for Beergeek.com next? log in you're drinks...

I would seriously subscribe to that in a blink - I have yet to find a good mixology or brewing community that has the camaraderie and nerdiness of geekdo. But it'd have to be drinkgeek.com, because I'm a spirits and cocktail man myself.

Currently drinking my latest home mixology experiment: basil lemon drop. Pretty damn good. And it looks manly as long as I don't use a martini glass.

Sounds awesome!
There's a local guy in Atlanta (http://kingofpops.net/) who makes organic hippie-dippy popsicles. He slings a lemon-basil pop that's ah-maze-iiiiiing. The grapefruit-hibiscus and plum-cardamon are also pretty delicious, if you're seekin' new flavor notes to mix!

Double shot espresso of a 50%-50% Costa Rica/Panama blend. The beans have oiled up nicely... thick crema, beautiful aroma, chocolatey undertones.

Mmmm.

I've been working too many late nights. I think I'll go make another one.

Noted! I've made a simple cardamom syrup for cocktails (ice cream, too!) before but I had trouble pairing it. I'll try plum next time.

Plum stands up to the cardamon fairly well. King of Pops' chocolate sea salt is great, too.

A local ice creamery (http://www.morellisicecream.com/) near East Atlanta Village has a caramel sea salt gelato that's just as tasty, but it's in a tight race with their Karachi kulfi, coconut-jalapeno, and sweet corn ice creams. Mmmmm.

Now, to brew up a little Coffee in the macchinetta: Finca el Injerto from 1000 Faces (http://www.1000facescoffee.com/)!

Glenmorangie (Burgundy Wood Finish)

With a Book 59: Curse of the Mummy chaser. I'm probably going to die. Again.

First time with this variety of Glenmorangie. It's very smooth... a bit butterscotch and cocoa almost. I might be in the mood for something more peaty after this.

Just finished drinking a Double IPAthat I brewed myself as part of a selection of IPAs crafted during a Brewfest at IncrediBREW, a Brew on Premises establishment in my hometown. The Double may be the weakest of the six brews we produced, way out of balance with a hops profile that is off the scale. At the same time, it's a damn good beer if you like this sort of thing (which I do).

Next up: a bottle of the mighty Hopzilla, a massively-hopped monster that features a strong malt flavor for good balance (and somewhere over 8% ABV, I believe).

Nothing. Had some mountain dew earlier. Am contemplating some heart of mead steeped for a year with cinnamon. Very whiskey-like.

Just tried the new Ardbeg Supernova at a tasting last Thursday ... now that's peaty!

But since it's time to knock off at work, and it's Friday, it will be a cheap local NZ "ale" I next drink...

It's not very good, but it's cold and wet.
